Thank you to Katie for helping us plan our move back to Ontario. We had to move due to some unfortunate circumstances so this wasn’t entirely a happy time for us. Nonetheless Total Care Moving offered reassurance that things would go smoothly and they did. They were a little late due to some unexpected traffic but when they arrived they didn’t waste any time. I feel that we weren’t very organized because of the nature of the move. They were very understanding and helpful. With everything going on, Katie really took care of us. We arrived along with our things in one piece thanks to them. Now we are starting over again but at least it’s on a great moving note!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3000

Moving from Ontario to New Brunswick. Agreed on a quote with Jenna , she told me were entitled to a $375 discount if agreed on that day before noon , it was. Never honoured the discount at the end. Instead of taking the agreed 3 days to get out there , it took over 2 weeks. Damaged and missing items. Everything was loaded onto another trailer which they claim they dont do. Jenna just ignored all my texts and emails when confronting her on this. PLEASE DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! You will regret it. And Im sure all the positive reviews are written by them and family and friends.

I really felt like Katie and Total Care understood what I was looking for. I didn’t feel like I was getting the runaround or a bunch of yes, yes, yes like other companies just to get our business. Katie understood and asked questions and most importantly put everything in writing for me. This is what made me pull the trigger and move forward with them. We booked a date, put down a deposit and got a confirmation email with a receipt on the same day. We were promised a call or email the day before our move with the timing and Katie did in fact confirm those details in the morning. Day of the move Mike, Josh and Ray arrived at 9:30 AM to move us out. It went very smoothly, I was happy to see that they sent experienced movers. They drove to our new place, same city and completed the move at 6:00 PM. Katie’s quoted hours to me and therefore price was in fact accurate. Our special requests were bubble wrap for 3 mirrors, extra mattress covers, TV packing and moving my moms very heavy hospital bed. They did as requested for all of the above. Bill was paid up in full and the guys finished up and left. We did a walk through before they left to make sure nothing was left on the truck. I am very elated that I moved with Total Care. Thank you Katie, for making our move a great one.

Wow!!! Just Wow!! I still can’t believe it’s all over and I’m finally moved out and into my new place. Thank you to TC for making this truly a hassle free move. I chose them after my very thorough conversation with Angela. She was so good on the phone and I really trusted her and had a good feeling. We went over everything together as I wanted a real quote and not to get slapped later with a bill I wasn’t expecting. Her estimate and what I paid were dead on. So thank you, Angela. The movers also deserve a lot of credit. Man can these guys work! I swear they didn’t stop until that truck was done and filled up. I offered them breaks and food and they just insisted on finishing first then finally took their much deserved break. They were super careful and put blankets on all my stuff. It was a great experience from start to finish. I 100% no doubt recommend them.

On Saturday, November 1st our moving crew arrived to our property in Mississauga. They wrapped, loaded and delivered our belongings to our new place right 60km away all in the same day. We did not think a same day move was possible. Thanks to them it happened and it went smoothly. They saved us an overnight stay in a hotel and a lot of stress. Very professional and courteous. The extra care to our marble and glass pieces did not go unnoticed. Tipped Mike and his 2 other crew member $50 each for their hard work. Move cost was right on budget with the quote. Much gratitude to Total Care Movers.

Excellent customer service. Wonderful movers. Very experienced company. Reasonable pricing. Katie and her team at TC provided my family with the best possible moving experience. Katie was extremely thorough with her quoting process. She asked a lot of questions and ensured we were getting an accurate quote. We went with TC because of how kind and diligent she was. Thanks to her there were no surprises when it came to our final bill. The movers were very impressive. I think they have been doing this for a long time or have a lot of experience. They cleared out our home quickly but carefully and before we knew it the truck was packed and driving away with all our stuff. They met us the next day at the new place for the delivery. We inspected all our furniture before they left and there were no marks on anything. We finally just unpacked and thankfully nothing was broken. We really had the best experience with them. Thank you guys so much.

My mom and I are very thankful for Katie and for Total care. Moving just the 2 of us was so stressful. My mom couldn’t do much due to some health conditions and I have no time due to work. We went ahead with their full packing service and when I tell you in was worth every penny I mean it! This saved us weeks of packing and the headaches that come with it. The crew came in one day before moving day and packed up everything. They included all the packing supplies in the price and time to pack. I wish I knew about this type of service when I moved previously! Moving day they loaded up and we anxiously waited for their arrival. We needed a few nights storage as we couldn’t get the keys same day. Total Care was very accommodating. Move in day finally came and the same truck and crew delivered us. The unpacking of our boxes was a pain in the you know what but we had time to do it ourselves versus the packing up. Mom and I are super happy with Total Care and if you can choose work with Katie, I recommend her all the way!

This moving company is exceeded my expectations. Communication was spectacular with our agent Angela. At no point did I feel worried about my items or kept in the dark about any part of the move. They kept in touch with me about timing, payment, delivery updates and were always available when I called. I am old school and prefer to get on the phone to get things done. I initially chose them because my agent was easy to reach and listened to my needs. Now that I am moved in my only regret is that I didn’t use them for all my other moves. I do believe this will be my last move but that doesn’t mean I won’t be sending their number to people I know. I am very thankful for these movers.

Do not go with this company, mostly inexperienced movers they have. They have a good sales pitch, but at the end it was the opposite of what I was promised.

Keep in mind I booked a month ahead.

1) I was told that not a problem to get an early start 7am.

Reality: gave me a bunch of excuses and showed up 2:00pm in the afternoon. There is no excuse for this. my thoughts are is I agree with the other bad review for this company is that they double book.

2) Was promised they would protect my flooring with floor runners.

Reality: they didn't even bring floor runners, they absolutely didn't "care". The result hundreds of dollars in damage to the hardwood. Also hundreds of dollars damage to my walls they hit, scraped and for some reason carelessly put their dirty hands on.

3) Was promised they would protect my furniture AND if anything were to happen, they would settle it on the spot.

Reality: A lot of furniture damaged. My dining room table, my son's computer desk, my filing cabinet mysteriously crushed to the point I can't open it. There was damages to many others as well. Again hundreds of dollars in damage.

When I asked the one guy about the damage to filing cabinet I was rudely asked to "call the office" instead.

4) Was quoted at 12 hours max.

Reality, Took 16 hours in total. Because of my hassle of them arriving late they said would not charge for last 3 hours, but when asked about the damage to my furniture, floors and walls. they rudely said I am being compensated by not charging extra hours. when in reality it took what was quoted anyways and I ended up paying over 2000! I may not have minded this price if I didn't have about 1000 dollars in damages. Also, the stress and pressure that was put on our family was horrendous. The workers would be nice for awhile, then would start to complain and "threaten" to charge more.

I also think they are too slow, I did a LOT of up front work for them, taking apart all beds and wrapping them up. We moved a lot of boxes and other stuff ourselves. When they started to complain and threaten me, I was extremely worried, they would just leave and i'd be left stuck many times. so I helped there slow workers load stuff on the truck myself. I had extremely blisters and athletes foot. I was told not to worry, sit back and relax and let them do it, oh they did it alright. oh let them help you with stuff out of the van.. no help..as no time.

They finished at 3am in the morning and I got two young kids. then had to come back next day to finish. they did try to finish same day for me, but truck broke down.

Overall this move was a "Total Nightmare", the stress alone i'm surprised I didn't have a heart attack at my age.

I've got lots of pictures of the damages, so I can certainly share if anyone would like to see them.

This company is new and inexperienced, likely double book, and throw contractor style excuses at you. at the end of the day its still a business and if its run like this, I don't think they'll be in business long.

I regret not going with the more experienced and reputable company now. Save yourself this hassle folks, even if you got to pay more. Please learn from my nightmare of total NOT-care.

Thank you to everyone at total care who helped facilitate our move over the weekend. The crews on both ends were absolutely amazing. Very careful and organized. My belongings arrived without any damages. Big thank you to Jenna as well, she was so helpful and very communicative throughout. The price was attractive and the service that I recieved was worth the money spent. They delivered on the next day with no delays or waiting time. I highly recommend them! Ps. Thank you for the Starbucks giftcard, the coffee was appreciated during the unpacking.

Hired to move a 3 bedroom 1800 square foot home nothing special 25 totes plus furniture qouoted 7 hours with 3 movers after 7 hours movers weren’t half done the house no excuse moving is a time sensitive trade like set up and take down you can’t take all day to move a simple house only half our furniture moved then sent picture of truck that company said was full everyone I show laughs as you could prob fit another house in it but couldn’t afford to find out if they could next day after move me and my buddy did double the work on half the timeI’m not a complainer but this was absolutely brutal not efficient very nice and polite movers just not even close to worth 150$ an hour

I want to share my wonderful experience with one of the best moving company(Total Care Moving) which i choose to make a move for us. The movers were on time. These guys were fantastic They handled the stuff very well, wrapped everything and places well in the truck. I was so nervous about large glass & fragile items that needed to be moved down several flights of stairs but they told me not to worry and assured me that they would take care of everything. They shrink wrapped my furniture and were very respectful of my belongings. They move went off without a hitch. Not a single item broken & the move was completed in a timely fashion. I will definitely recommend and refer that company to my friends if they wanna make a move only choose Total Care Moving Service.

My experience with Total Care is warning message for all consumers that value their personal belongings.

This company treated my high end items like junk. I entrusted them to store my furniture and personal effects with care. Instead when I visited the storage unit, I was shocked and dismayed to see my personal belongings in a garbage heap. Numerous items were broken..many need to be replaced. No response or responsibility taken by management. I only received a note from the administrator claiming that management would respond ( never called) and the employees that packed my storage unit were fired.

Unbelievable! Chairs, Side tables, desks were broken.. my cream coloured couch was filthy because the wrapping was ripped by the lawn furniture that was placed on top of it.

I had to pay another moving company to re-wrap and move my belongings to another storage facility.

Move size: 4+ Bedroom Home Service cost: $6000

No contract presented on moving day, no mention of shuttle service needed until day of (They apparently don't have access to Google maps?) and the loading in Ontario took 12 hours. Days later in Nova Scotia at the new property, we are told that half the hired crew was not there, so they hired a third local guy. During the day, the shuttle (U-Haul) got stuck more than once in the driveway and was eventually ditched beyond help in the evening. We were left without all our items for the first night, which resulted in me having to sleep on the floor. Day two, we are told by the local guy that the two movers from this company had LEFT because they had another job to get to, leaving him to complete everything. He wasn't able to find assistance that day so myself and my grandfather had to help unload our items as it was too much for one person. During this time my grandfather fell down the stairs. I mentioned this in emails to the company - no response. We have broken items, there are items missing, and we are out hundreds of dollars for towing services incurred from poor driving and bad decisions by this crew who ultimately abandoned us. They don't even have the decency to answer emails or offer a refund. Stay far far away!!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I could write a novel on all the reasons not to use total care moving but I will make this brief. Movers are inexperienced and do not care about your stuff. Many of my things were broken and several boxes did not arrive at my new house. Sarah Young is the main(only) contact for the company who is nice and friendly until they get their money. I have emailed, called, and WhatsApp the company with this and they refuse to return my calls/emails. I called using a friends phone to have Sarah answer and when she realized it was me, blew me off saying management is dealing with it. Has ghosted me again. Many other things went wrong with total care moving (two and a half weeks delivery of my stuff but was promised one week), stuff left behind at my old house, the list goes on and on. If anyone is reading this review contemplating using this company….please don’t. They are cheaper than other moving companies, but you get what you pay for!!! I cannot stress this enough. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

They made our moving experience super comfortable and easy. Their friendly and outgoing attitude made it easy for us to ask any questions and they provided us with all the right information for what we needed to do for moving. They did excellent job by moving all our furniture safe with no damage and they created totally stress free moving experience for us. I just wanted to take the time and acknowledge this company particularly goes way above and beyond normal range of practice especially for the rates they charged and the quality they provided. Great service and I very highly recommend Total Care Moving.

Love these guys!! Ive used quite a few moving companies in my time and have had head aches to deal with once the move was complete. From ridiculous billing to my stuff being damaged, even "lost" not to mention lost or still in transit. BUT THESE GUYS ARE THE EXACT OPPOSITE. These guys are efficient, careful and reliable. I was really appreciative of how my move was carried out by this company. Due to past experiences I was a bit pessimistic and nervous about hiring movers, which is something I really needed to do this time around, but I was completely satisfied by the performance of Total Care Moving, they treated my belongings with the same care and sensitivity that would give while moving my items. I was monitoring their activities and have to say, GREAT JOB GUYS.
